MUSINGS

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, dream, discover."

Have U Ever Done This !!

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2007 when...

1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.

2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.

3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.

4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.

5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.

6. You pull up in your own parking lot and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.

7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.

8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.

10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your tea / coffee.

11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. :

:> )

12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.

13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.

14. You are too busy to notice there was no # 9 on this list.

15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this list

Beware

MPORTANT INFORMATION (also inform your friends without emails!!!)

Three women in North Florida turned up at hospitals over a 5-day
period, all with the same symptoms. Fever, chills, and vomiting, followed
by muscular collapse, paralysis and finally, death.

There were no outward signs of trauma.

Autopsy results showed toxicity in the blood. These women did not know
each other and seemed to have nothing in common. It was discovered,
however, that they had all visited the same Restaurant (Olive Garden)
within days of their deaths. The Health Department descended on the
restaurant , shutting it down. The food, water, and air conditioning were
all inspected and tested, to no avail.

The big break came when a waitress at the restaurant was rushed to the
hospital with similar symptoms. She told doctors that she had been on
vacation, and had only went to the restaurant to pick up her check.

She did not eat or drink while she was there, but had used the
restroom.

That is when one toxicologist, remembering an article he had read,
drove out to the restaurant, went into the restroom and lifted the toilet
seat .

Under the seat, out of normal view, was a small spider. The spider was
captured and brought back to the lab, where it was determined to be the
Two-Striped Telamonia (Telamonia dimidiata), so named because of its
reddened flesh color.&nb sp; This spider's venom is extremely toxic, but
can take several days to take effect. They live in cold, dark, damp
climates, and toilet rims provide just the right atmosphere.

Several days later a lawyer from Jacksonville showed up at a hospital
emergency room. Before his death, he told the doctor, that he had been away
on business, had taken a flight from Indonesia , changing planes in
Singapore, before returning home. He did NOT visit (Olive Garden), while
there. He did (as did all of the other victims) have what was determined to
be a puncture wound, on his right buttock. Investigators discovered that
the flight he was on had originated in India

The Civilian Aeronautics Board (CAB) ordered an immediate inspection
of the toilets of all flights from India and discovered the Two-Striped
Telamonia (Telamonia dimidiata) spider's nests on 4 different planes!

It is now believed that these spiders can be anywhere in the world .

So please, before you use a public toilet, lift the seat to check for
spiders. It can save your life!

Kindly pass this on to everyone you care about.

AM I A PEOPLE'S PERSON?

Your Interpersonal Intelligence Score: 69%

Your Interpersonal Intelligence is High

You are definitely a "people person." You enjoy spending time with others.
You instinctively understand people, and you are both a good counsellor and mediator.
However, there are definitely times when you've had enough. And that's when you cherish being alone.

MY SOUL

What Your Soul Really Looks Like

You are a warm hearted and open minded person. It's easy for you to forgive and forget.

You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. You feet may be on the ground, but you're head is in the clouds.

You see yourself with pretty objective eyes. How you view yourself is almost exactly how other people view you.

Your near future is calm, relaxing, and pretty much what you want. And it's something you've been anticipating for a while now.

For you, love is all about caring and comfort. You couldn't fall in love with someone you didn't trust.
Your Psyche is Green

You radiate love, empathy, and acceptance.
You are able to relax almost everyone you meet. You are naturally comforting.
Balanced and flexible, you only seem perfect!

When you are too green: you are jealous, manipulative, and deceptive

When you don't have enough green: you feel sluggish and out of sorts

CHAK DE.

I recently saw chak de India . My god what an awe inspiring movie ,quite like RDB..... Well the very next day the Indian hockey team won the Asian cup . What a coincidence... well i must say that my interest in hockey has really increased.
How long it will last i don't know . What it will culminate into i don't know . One thing is for sure I won't start playing the game as i m too old for that , but my interest in women's hockey has really increased.
OUR WOMEN'S HOCKEY TEAM WAS ALREADY PLAYING QUITE WELL , thanks to coach Negi . But hats off to Negi . I read about his plight in the newspapers . How ironical that the same press who was calling him a traitor is now hailing him as a national hero.
U just never know on whose side these media people are? They keep changing sides so quickly.
